No one seems to be able to advise the community how to resolve the issue which is pathetic after failing to address the issue for two years. It is hard to believe that Intuit QuickBooks has designed a very useful feature in the software yet can not advise which scanners work with the program since apparently all TWAIN compliant scanners will not work with the software. Since I have no ability to roll back to a previous version of windows apparently I am only sit on my hands until someone gets around to doing something about this. I just bought two Brother MFC L8900 CDW Printer/ Scanners which I can not connect to the software. I just bought a Windows 11 computer and am unable to use my Canon PRO-100 printer, the one I use for all of my photographic printing. Now I am trying to find a another high speed scanner to replace my old scanner which after 7 years stopped working. KOFAX has no clue about QuickBooks Scan Manager and suggested I contact QuickBooks who keeps sending us back to a two year old list of scanners most of which are not available today. So when the Wizard asks if you "Would you like to download the latest scanner database from Nuance" it is not possible. After getting the run around for a week trying to add a new scanner to my QuickBooks Accountant 2018 I found out Nuance sold off their Scanner interest to KOFAX.
